Events – Terms & Conditions
Lectures are open to both members and non-members. Unless stated, all other events require Georgian Group membership to attend.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to use a ticket allocated to you; there is often a waiting list for returns.
Refunds are not available:
- For any event costing £15 or less.
- When a place is cancelled fewer than ten working days before the event.
- Where the Group has had to bear the cost of a ticket and has been unable to resell it.
If you are eligible for a refund, please contact the office; otherwise we will treat your payment as a donation. For those tickets eligible for a cancellation refund, an administration fee of 20% of the ticket price will be charged.
Please note that the different cancellation and refund policies may apply where separate booking forms are used (e.g. for overseas and some overnight trips). Please ensure that you check the policies on those forms as they supersede those stated here.
Members and guests participate in events at their own risk. Please contact a member of staff to discuss access needs for specific events. In certain circumstances the Group may be able to offer a free carer ticket for events, please speak directly to the office for more information. The group reserves the right to cancel, postpone or alter the content of an event.
For online lectures, the Group takes no responsibility for any technological issues on the part of the attendee that might impact attendance at an online lecture. For recordings of online lectures with a limited viewing period, it is the ticket holder’s responsibility to ensure they view the recording within the allocated time; the Group is unable to make exceptions to this.
