Exclusive Tour of the Restored Great Hall & Hogarth Stair, St Bartholomew’s, London

4:00–5:00 PM, followed by drinks

Enjoy an exclusive after-hours visit to St Bartholomew’s Hospital’s beautifully restored Great Hall and Hogarth Stair, led by chief executive of Barts Heritage, Will Palin. This private tour will offer access to the magnificent 18th-century interiors and Hogarth’s celebrated paintings, and rare insight into their history and recent award-winning restoration.

Will Palin is an architectural historian and writer who previously directed major heritage projects including the restoration of the Painted Hall at the Old Royal Naval College, before moving to St Barts in 2019 where he has overseen the triumphant restoration of the Great Hall and Hogarth Stair.

The tour concludes with a relaxed drinks reception, with limited numbers ensuring an intimate experience and the chance to engage directly with the curator.
