Thirsk Hall is a Grade II* listed three-storey town house built in 1723 and extended in 1770 by York architect John Carr. The house includes a large room designed by Carr with a very fine ceiling.

To the east of the house, sits the town of Thirsk and to the west, there are 20 acres of gardens, walled paddocks and a parkland. The tour will be led by Dr Helen Metcalfe and include a visit to the Thirsk Hall Sculpture Garden.
