As part of the York Georgian Festival, join Dr. Tom Whitfield from the Georgian Group (the National Amenity Society dedicated to Georgian heritage and a statutory consultee in the planning process) for a short walking tour through York. The tour will highlight key Georgian buildings the Group has advised on in recent years, offering insights into their significance and the role of expert guidance in their preservation. Along the way, Dr. Whitfield will discuss the challenges of protecting built heritage in a rapidly changing world, and explore why conserving our Georgian legacy remains more vital than ever.

The walk will be run twice, at 11.30am and 2.30pm. The starting point for the walk will be outside the front of York Mansion House.
