Event Details

Apsley House, also known as No.1 London, was first built in the 1770s by Robert Adam for Lord Apsley. However, it was transformed by Benjamin Dean Wyatt in the early nineteenth century for the Duke of Wellington. As a result it boasts one of the finest regency interiors in the UK and a fascinating collection relating to the Napoleonic Wars and Wellington’s later political career.

Following the same format as the Young Georgians trip to Hampton Court in December, attendees are invited to buy their tickets themselves for the 1pm time-slot. Advanced booking is recommended. Tickets (£12.50) can be bought directly from English Heritage’s website by clicking the ‘Book Now’ button. If you are planning on attending, please email the Young Georgians at yg@georgiangroup.org.uk to let them know.

The YGs hope there will be the opportunity following the visit to catch up somewhere nearby; details will be sent in due course to those who have advised they are attending.

This event is open to both Young Georgians and potential Young Georgians.
