Winner of the Georgian Group Architectural Awards in 2021 for Restoration of a Georgian Structure or Interior for the Bath Stone Bridge, Pevsner called Halswell Park the most important house of its period in Somerset. The Elizabethan Manor and 1689 Baroque wing sit in C18th parkland with temples, follies and lakes. Our tour will begin with a visit to Robin Hood Hut, managed by The Landmark Trust. This will be followed by a visit to the house (currently undergoing a restoration project), grounds and Mill Wood.
Refreshments and lunch are included with this visit. This event is for members and their guests.
