Drawing Matter is a charitable trust that explores the role of drawing in architectural thought and practice through workshops for students and practitioners, public events, exhibitions, and publications – both physical and digital. Central to their activities is the Drawing Matter Collection of many thousands of architectural and design drawings from across the world, dating from the Renaissance to the present day. In October 2024, Drawing Matter moved its activities and collection from Somerset to Smart’s Place, London. We will be led through a selection of 18th-century
drawings from this vast collection by Dr Elizabeth Deans, Assistant Director at the Ax:son Johnson Centre for the Study of Classical Architecture, University of Cambridge.

The event is for Georgian Group members’ only. Please read our terms and conditions before booking.

If tickets have sold out for this event, please email members@georgiangroup.org.uk to be added to the waiting list.
