To mark International Women’s Day, Juliet Rix will look at both London’s Georgian statues of women and London’s statues of Georgian women. She will focus on Queen Charlotte and Georgian celebrity actress Sarah Siddons, subject of the capital’s first standalone statue of a named non-royal woman.  Mary Wollstonecraft and her controversial 21st-century commemoration by Maggi Hambling will also feature.

The talk starts at 6.30pm, doors open from 6.15pm.
