As part of our Vanbrugh300 festival, Rory Fraser, historian who will publish a narrative biography on the life and times of Vanbrugh in 2027, will discuss Vanbrugh’s brilliant comedies, The Relapse and The Provoked Wife. He will explore how these radically modern works reflect both the excitements and the existential questions current in the post-revolutionary England of the 1690s.

The talk starts at 6.30pm, doors open from 6.15pm.
