The Georgian Group’s annual Lord Crathorne Lecture was established in 2017 to commemorate Lord Crathorne’s 25-year service to the Group (first as Chairman and then as President) after he stood down in 2015. Held at our AGM on 26th July, in 2018 the lecture was given by Dr Adriano Aymonino, lecturer and Director of Undergraduate Programmes in the Department of History of Art at the University of Buckingham. We are pleased to announce that Dr Aymonino’s lecture, ‘Robert Adam and the birth of the ‘True style of antique decoration”, which considers the principles, sources and overall modus operandi of Adam’s varied interior style, is now available to view online, below or on our YouTube channel.
