The Young Georgians are delighted to announce a tour of Nicholas Hawksmoor churches in London’s East End on Saturday 4 October. Nicholas Hawksmoor might be the most unusual genius of the British baroque and his works in the East End are among his masterpieces. Following on from his tours of West End churches, Chelsea, and Edinburgh, Young Georgians member Charlie Clegg will explore these unique buildings.

The tour will begin at 12.30pm on Saturday 4 October on the front steps of St Anne’s, Limehouse. The tour will also take in St George’s in the East in Shadwell and finish at Christ Church, Spitalfields. There will be a pub trip afterwards. The tour will last approximately two and a half hours and will involve a walk of about two and half miles. If you have any accessibility requirements, do please let us know.

The trip is priced at £10 and is open to all Young Georgians and potential Young Georgians.
