6.30pm-8.30pm

Join us for at the Georgian Group for a summer evening of drinks and merriment and hear from the Group’s caseworkers about the important work they do.

Offering guidance on changes to Georgian architecture has been a key role of the Group since its founding in 1937. In 1971, this role was formalised when the Group became a national amenity society and consultee within the UK’s planning system. Ever since, casework has been a principal means of fighting for our Georgian heritage across the country.

Our Conservation Advisors, who monitor and advise on material change to Georgian Britain, will help illuminate their work, its challenges and successes and will ‘lift the lid’ on this fascinating and most vital activity of the Group.
