The Georgian Group is holding a series of lectures which will explore aspects of the Georgian architecture of a number of towns and cities in the context of their social and economic history. This lecture will focus on Derby.
Maxwell Craven is an author, historian and conservation lobbyist. He worked for 25 years at Derby Museum, 18 years of which were as Keeper of Antiquities. He is the author of numerous books mainly on architecture, biography and local history, including a number of books on Derby and Derbyshire.
