Denton Hall is a Tudor building at its core but was given its current elegantly classical appearance in 1757. The garden wall is a curiosity in itself, as it contains the original windows of Brasenose College chapel and library, removed to Denton in the nineteenth-century.

Nether Winchendon is an enchanting concoction of a genuine medieval and Tudor with gothick embellishments dating from the eighteenth-century; it is a remarkable building, once seen never forgotten. Lunch included.
