Morning, TIME TBC

Pitzhanger Manor and Gallery, Ealing, London. Designed and built between 1800 and 1804 by Sir John Soane as his own country retreat in the then rural Ealing, Pitzhanger showcased Soane’s skills as an architect as well as housing his eclectic and growing collection of art and antiquities. Most recently, the house has been closed to the public while a £12 million renewal and restoration project is undertaken which restored the house to Soane’s original designs and reinstated lost elements. Pitzhanger will re-open in March 2019 and this visit will provide members with the opportunity to see the important work that has been undertaken while enjoying the house as it was originally designed.
